Miami Center Condenser Water System Retrofit Case Study

This document details a $275,000 retrofit project at Miami Center that replaced a constant-volume condenser water system with variable-volume pumping, yielding annual energy savings of $92,882 and a payback of under three years. The project included installing Yaskawa variable frequency drives and premium efficiency motors on condenser pumps and cooling tower fans, along with a new direct digital control system and automatic valves.
