PYROTRONICS PIU Building Automation System Interface Manual

This document describes the PYROTRONICS PIU, a dedicated interface that integrates a Satchwell BAS Building Automation System with a PYROTRONICS MXL Fire Panel, enabling two-way data exchange and mapping of fire detection events to standard BAS digital I/O points. It allows operators at a central BAS terminal to monitor alarms, perform panel resets and acknowledgements, and incorporate fire system data into broader building management strategies.
