Yaskawa MP2300 Multi-Axis Servo Application Note

This document describes a machine design challenge where three servo axes (Strip Feed, Cut/Position, and Insertion) required a violent motion profile to achieve 700 parts/minute, causing instability. The solution used a Yaskawa MP2300 Motion Controller with a Virtual Master and Sigma-5 servos to allow non-linear axis relationships, enabling higher speed and stable tension control.
