Rear Axle Carrier Assembly Line

This document describes an ABB robotics assembly line for the 9-3/4” and 10-1/2” rear axle carriers used in the 4-wheel drive truck market. The system features a non-synchronous power roll MS-7 transport system, assembles five different axle types, and achieves a production capacity of 240,000 units per year with a 45-second cycle time.
