Duke University Medical Center Inlet Guide Vane Retrofit Case Study

This case study details the retrofit of an existing inlet guide vane system at Duke University Medical Center using Yaskawa variable frequency drives and motors. The project involved 20 drives with bypass, ranging from 60 to 200 hp at 460V in NEMA 1 enclosures, installed in late 1999 for supply and return fan applications, and has performed flawlessly.
