In-Series Diagnostics Communication Protocol Manual

This document describes Banner Engineering's In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) communication protocol, which allows up to 32 plug-n-play safety devices to be connected in a single series and communicate directly with common PLCs. It highlights features such as simplified wiring, intuitive setup, auto tag export, local operator guidance, and real-time data (including device temperature, voltage, alignment, and distance) to prevent downtime and streamline troubleshooting.
