Compact Disc Placer Solution for Yaskawa MP2600iec and Sigma V

This document details a packaging industry solution for placing Compact Discs (CDs) into randomly arriving carriers at up to 350 per minute using a Yaskawa MP2600iec controller and Sigma V servo. The system achieves +/- 0.0625" placement accuracy through dynamic cam shifting and electronic synchronization, addressing challenges of random product arrival and expensive existing controllers.
