MELSERVO VFFS Packaging Machine Solution

This document presents a MELSERVO-based automation solution for vertical form, fill, and seal (VFFS) packaging machines, addressing three key production issues: shorter cycle times without increased machine shock, reliable safety systems, and high-quality packaging. It details the use of Mitsubishi components including the FX5U PLC, MR-J4-B servo amplifier, and Simple Motion module to achieve advanced synchronous control, cam control for smooth film handling, and STO (Safe Torque Off) for safe, rapid restart.
