ABB has launched the IRB 6620LX, a five-axis overhead-mounted robot arm on a linear gantry unit, combining articulated and linear technology for improved flexibility, speed, and a 150kg payload. This robot is designed for materials handling, machine tending, and applications like assembly and welding, offering a scalable workspace up to 33 meters horizontally and 4 meters vertically.
