Yaskawa VFDs Harvard Medical School HVAC Retrofit Case Study

This case study details a project where Yaskawa variable frequency drives were selected for an HVAC air handling retrofit at Harvard Medical School, meeting stringent harmonic distortion requirements beyond IEEE-519 standards. The drives, ranging from 3hp to 125hp at 208V, included 67 units with bypass and 37 with 12-pulse integral mounted transformers, communicating via Siemens Apogee.
