Yaskawa iQpump1000 Booster Pump Application at Beaumont Hospital

This document describes how Hydronics Modules Corporation (HMC) used Yaskawa iQpump1000 variable frequency drives to solve a water pressure regulation problem at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The new triplex booster pump system provided precise 80 PSI pressure regulation, pump redundancy, energy savings, and reduced maintenance compared to the previous fixed-speed system with PRV valves.
