ABB Robots in Pharmaceutical Packaging at Novartis Rosia

This document describes how Novartis Vaccines & Diagnostics uses ABB robots, including the IRB 660 Flex Palletizer, IRB 340 FlexPicker, and IRB 260 robot de-nester, to automate the packaging of life-saving pharmaceuticals at its plant in Rosia, Italy. The robots improve efficiency and precision while meeting stringent Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety guidelines, handling tasks such as palletizing, picking, and de-nesting syringes and vaccine cartridges.
