PVD Pick-to-Light Sensor Die Crash Prevention Application Note

This document describes how Banner Engineering customized its PVD Pick-to-Light sensor to prevent die crashes in an automotive metal stamping press. The sensor detects parts on a chute after removal from the die, sending a signal to the press control system to allow the next stroke, with modifications including increased response speed from 400 ms to 50 ms.
