ABB Laser Absorption Spectrometer Syringe-Sample Modification for Methane Analysis

This document describes a modification to an ABB laser absorption spectrometer that enables syringe-sample analysis of methane concentrations in peatland flux chambers. The technique allows researchers to measure methane emissions from different peatland microforms without the need for laboratory analysis, using a simple stainless steel injection loop and disposable syringes.
